I have an application that shows Syncfusion Grid Control container as an SwfObject. The native class of the object is winforms so Axe is showing it as a window even though the Class says SwfObject. So, in my QTP OR, this SwfObject is under a WpfWindow object. Axe does not show the SwfObject as belonging to the WpfWindow, but as it's own window, and when I put the object in a test, I get an error in the results that it cannot find the SwfObject. I thought it was because it was being treated as a window, and of course, in the OR ,it does not show up as a window.
Any thoughts on dealing with this?
Hi LaBron,
If the SwfObject contains child objects, then yes, Axe will treat it as a parent (window) object. The default QTP 'set' action for a SwfObject is to click on the object. So you could either override the command for the set action or create a new custom action to handle it some other way (or even do nothing). Sam |
