Hi,
I would like to request a new Result (int) for the AxeMainAPI.StepValidate class.
At the moment we only have Pass(0) Fail(1) but this doesn't allow us to put tests on Hold (Blocked).

It would nice to have this extra result so that when we look at any results we don't have to trawl through them thinking they have failed for no other reason that they will fail as the code/defect hasn't been developed for that release.

OK i would have to put the 'Hold' somewhere for Axe to recognise that the test is blocked , but maybe we could use the dependency field as a quick win "Blocked" or "Hold" or even set them to 'Not Run'.

Do others have this issue?

Hi Russ,

We have a couple of new result status codes coming in Axe 3.5; Error and Inconclusive.

These may go someway to providing what you need. Maybe we can take this topic off-line to discuss your requirement in more detail?
