We want to run the compiled axe scriptz on a standalone machine that hasn't an axe license (i.e a Virtual Machine).
I can run the individual .exe files and can write some vbs code to read in the driver.xml file to get the right order but is there a better way? I noticed a vbs program called 'AxeRun' that seemed to do the job but fails to create the activex component 'OdinTechnology.Axe.Main.AxeMainAPI' I can't find any docs for this program? Any ideas would be appreciated (not just get a license!) Thanks Russ
Hi Russell,
You will still need the Axe runtime installed on every machine. This is because of the various services that Axe provides at runtime such as advanced results logging and error recovery etc. However, please not that the Axe runtime does not consume any licenses. So just install Axe on each pc - it wont mattter when the Axe eval license expires after 30 days. Sam |
