Hi,
When I setup a key for use within some tests (that haven’t been Run yet) i.e. get;save(akey) and use this later with a load(akey);val the documentation correctly describes the 'load(akey)' as something like "Using the value noted earlier...." but the subsequent 'val' gives "Value is expected to be blank" which is obviously incorrect. It needs to recognise that there was a load() before the val and say something like "Intentionally left blank...." I can't think of a way around this, can anyone help? Thanks Russ
Hi Russell,
We have an outstanding enhancement request to improve the documentation in this kind situation. In the meantime, the only work-around that I can think of would be to change the existing message. This is in the Documentation.xsl template on line 216 (Axe 3.3) and could be changed from: Value is expected to be blank to Value is expected to be blank, unless preceded by a load action Or you could just remove the text altogether ie. Sam |
