Axe Harness Testing - Proxy & SSL

Hi

I am trying to use AXE for web service testing.  I have some brief experience using SOAP UI to send and receive responses. In order to do this I needed to set proxy settings (host/port/username/password) and also SSL settings (Keystore location and password).

How can I configure these items for AXE?

Many thanks

Hi Mark,

Currently the SOAP support in AxeHarness does not provide a means for configuring a proxy. However, this is being considered for a future release.
An alternate solution is to create a proxy class in .NET and call that via the API testing support in AxeHarness.

Thanks Sam - do you have a set of instructions for doing this? I need to start a proof of concept for Web Service testing using AXE and I can't currently run anything

Thanks

Hi Mark,

Not really because it depends too much on the specific environment. You also really need access to someone on your team with Visual Studio/.NET/SOAP experience. Once you have created the proxy class in .NET its straight-forward to wire it up to AxeHarness.
