I’m afraid we found a defect in Harness. To keep it short: Harness cannot invoke methods from different assemblies in one test. It doesn’t matter if they are in the same or different sub-tests.

More details:
For our project we had two assemblies: one written by Duncan and the second by me. When we used only Duncan’s methods they were working properly. Unfortunately when we tried to invoke a method from our assembly an error came up with message: ‘Object does not match target type.’ When we moved our method to the beginning of the test it was working. But Duncan’s method failed with the same error. After few tests we established that the problem lies in the fact that we are calling methods form different assemblies.

AxeHarness does support multiple assemblies in the same test. So there most be something else that is causing your problem. Please send full details and your Axe project to support and we will advise.
