Is AXE version 2.1.0.954 has QC integration where AXE can automatically upload my built scripts in Test Lab and automatically will AXE load the results in the TEST PLAN of QC?
And while building scripts is it possible to follow relative path format like QTP and is it possible for creating a loop for validating in the same screen? please let me know with an example.
Hi Ram,
Axe has a rich set of integration features with Quality Center via the AxeManager tool provided with Axe. Using AxeManager you can: - Import the test documentation that Axe automatically generates as manual test steps - Export run lists from the Test Lab for build and run in Axe - Import Axe test results (from any tool executed via Axe, not just QTP) - Import the QTP code generated via Axe for execution direct from QC - Store and version control Axe project assets in the QC Test Resources module Note that Axe 3.0 provides a similar level of test management features for integration with TFS and Test Manager in VS2010. Relative paths can be used throughout Axe projects. There is no need to hard-code paths to any project assets. There are many ways that you can design and structure your tests in Axe. Axe uses a simple Excel spreadsheet model that specifically keeps the test design and layout as simple and flexible possible. Axe specifically targets non-technical testers and as such avoids constructs typically associated with programming such as loops. It is very easy to create tests such as the one you describe and examples can be found in the standard sample programs provided with Axe. If you would like to go into more detail on any of the above then please contact us via the Axe website at http://www.axetest.com/company/contact.htm Regards, Sam |
