In response to valued feedback from our clients and partners and with growing interest in the use of Axe with QTP 9.0 and Quality Center 9.0, we are pleased to announce the general release of Axe 1.5.1. This release consolidates and improves the support for the latest generation of Mercury products, with particular focus on the following features:
Quality Center 9.0 Integration – Axe Manager supports direct two-way communication with Quality Center servers. In one direction this allows export of Test Lab information to Axe, instructing it which tests to build and run. In the other direction it allows Axe to post execution results back to Quality Center for collation and reporting. Improved QTP Object Repository Support – Axe now supports the full hierarchical Object Repository employed by QTP 9.0. This includes support for all application types to any level of nesting in the Repository. Support to directly read exported Object Repository XML files at build time is included, with no reliance on interim conversion steps. (Multiple open web browsers are supported by this update). Also in this release – Support for Compuware tools, QADirector and TestPartner used in conjunction with Oracle back-end databases. Other minor updates (See release notes). All documentation and sample test systems have been updated to reflect the above improvements. Again many thanks for the continued feedback that goes to help improve our product range. |
