Hi

A number of our scripts are failing as the actual result is picking up trailing whitespace following a message. 

I note that the technicians guide advises to use the action  val.Trim to ignore whitespace, however, using this results in  a script compilation error when executing.

I have checked the Rational Action Map and note that actions Val, Val.Equal and Val.NotEqual are all present but that val.Trim is missing - is this something that can  be added in?  if so, what is the command?

Further to the above, I located the function VAL.Trim in the LocalRobotActionMap with a command nFocus_ValidateTrim("%object%", "%data%", value)

I copied and pasted this into the RobotActionMap and re-built and run the scripts but I receive the same error

Hi Mark,

val.trim was only added for the Robot integration in Axe 2.0 or later. In your case it looks like someone from nFocus has implemented their own local equivalent of the val.trim function.
