Axe Test Automation Platform

Hi,

I have noticed that with some Axe test cases that we have built, after successfully building and executing the test, no results are generated. When the results button is clicked on the Axe GUI, the HTML results format is displayed, but result is "NotRun", with no further details. However it has been confirmed that the test is indeed running. We are using Axe in conjunction with QTP, and because of the QTP test script that is generated, this is the only means of viewing the test results through the QTP test results. This has only affected a few of our test cases, and seems like a random problem and that there is no pattern to it. Hope you can help!

Hi Mark,

Sometimes this can happen if a custom action has been implemented that has caused the Axe test result file to be invalid xml. Then it wont get imported into the master results file and will show as NotRun. Can you repro this by doing a build/run of a single test? If so then look at the file testResults.xml and see if it is well-formed xml.
