Im trying to connect AXE Manager to HP ALM Quality Center 11.

When I click on File --> Login --> HP ALM 11+, the following error is thrown.

Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'TDAPI10.TDConnection'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{21EABA3E-8FF5-46A1-B4C2-14998C9DA677}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).

I'm able to run scripts just fine. Only AXE manager throws this error.

The error message which is occurring is pointing at an QC addin called "HP ALM Connectivity Addin" or "HP QC Connectivity Addin", which should be installed before using Axe and QC 11. To check if this addin is installed on your QC11 client you can go into tools and you can check or add new addins from there.

If this addin is installed can you please see if you can reproduce the error on another environment e.g another workstation. This course of action will make sure that the issue is not workstation based. If the error persists you may have to reinstall the addin.
